Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-05-14. This is a v1 policy and will be revised before any meaningful number of users are onboarded.
What we collect
- Account email. Used to send sign-in links and caregiver invites. Stored in Supabase Auth.
- Vision queries. The text of your question and Claude's text response. The captured image itself is not stored.
- Memories. Labels and descriptions you explicitly save. Scoped to your account via Supabase Row Level Security.
- Caregiver invitations. The email address of anyone you invite, plus a single-use token for the link.
What we share
Your queries are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for inference. Anthropic does not train on API data by default. We do not share your data with any other third party.
Mentra Live glasses (optional)
If you pair Mentra Live smart glasses with SightNiq, photos and microphone audio from the glasses flow directly to your phone over Bluetooth or your local Wi-Fi, and from your phone to SightNiq's backend over HTTPS.
No image, audio, or location data from the glasses passes through Mentra's servers. We use Mentra's Bluetooth SDK (open source on GitHub) which is a direct phone↔glasses path. The legacy MentraOS cloud SDK does route some data through Mentra infrastructure; we deliberately do not use it.
Photos captured from the glasses are treated the same as photos from the phone camera: sent to Claude for the single query, never persisted to our database. Only the text response is stored (and only if you save the memory).
Your rights
- Delete any saved memory from the in-app memory browser.
- Revoke any caregiver invitation; the link stops working immediately.
- Request full data export or account deletion by emailing hello@deejayits.com. We aim to respond within 7 days.
